Who is responsible

Youssef Maged, a software engineer operating as a sole proprietorship registered in Egypt, based in Cairo (“we” in this notice), is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach him at the email address at the end of this notice.

What we collect

Information you give us: what you write in the contact form (your name, email and message) and in the AI assistant, including your email address if you choose to share it.

Information collected automatically: basic usage statistics collected without cookies, such as pages visited, time spent, approximate country, device and browser type, and the site that referred you. For security, technical data such as your IP address is processed briefly to prevent abuse; for the AI assistant we keep only a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of it with your conversations, which cannot be turned back into the address and is used to enforce fair-use limits.

Information collected only with your consent: analytics cookies that let us see, in aggregate and through session replays, how the site is used. Anything typed into forms or the assistant is masked.

Why we use it, and our legal bases

To respond to your enquiry and take steps before a possible contract with you. To run, secure and improve this website and its assistant, based on our legitimate interests. To measure use of the site with analytics cookies, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. To keep business and tax records where the law requires it.

The AI assistant

The assistant is an automated AI, not a person, and can make mistakes. Conversations are stored and read by Youssef so he can follow up properly. No decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made about you automatically.

Please do not share passwords, payment details, access credentials, health information or other people's personal data in the assistant.

Who we share it with

Only with carefully selected service providers acting on our instructions: website hosting, the AI model provider (under terms that do not allow it to use your messages to train its models), automated safety checks, security and content delivery, email delivery and, with your consent, analytics.

Your personal data is never sold and never used for advertising. We may disclose it where the law requires us to.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Assistant conversations: 12 months, then deleted. Enquiries and resulting business records: as long as needed to work together and as required by law. Usage statistics are kept in aggregate form.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us; we will reply within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work.

Cookies and similar storage

Strictly necessary storage remembers your cookie choice and, only once you use the assistant, keeps your conversations with it on your device for 30 days so you can reopen them, together with a random identifier that lets us see which conversations came from the same browser. If you switch the site's language, a small cookie remembers that choice for a year, so the site doesn't switch it back based on your country. None of this contains your name or contact details, and clearing your browser data removes it. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
